The company, co-owned by its founders Anita Willoughby and Julie Hunter have been friends for over 20 years.
They both share the same values, honesty, integrity and the same sense of humour which, in 2007, laid the foundations of Take Care.
Julie and Anita felt passionately from the outset that Take Care would deliver a unique, reliable care service carried out by committed people. With their complementary backgrounds in the care industry, banking and retail, they set up their own company with the driving force of ensuring their clients receive a high standard, bespoke support service.
They both believe it is crucial to employ individuals who share their vision and have a genuine desire to make a difference to their clients’ lives. Julie and Anita ‘hand pick’ people who they would happily send to a loved one of their own. All staff are checked by the Disclosure Barring Service, their references are scrupulously checked and they are interviewed in their own homes.
Julie and Anita are proud of their company and the team they employ. All of their Community Assistants possess life skills, common sense and embrace the company’s ethos of a ‘can do’ approach to their work.
